Probably my favorite Italian restaurant in New Haven, and the competition is extremely fierce! Great interior, diverse and wide-ranging menu. Osso Bucco is to die for. Fantastic wine selection. Superb wait staff. Can't wait to return.
Everything we had was top notch. The environment is very close seating, like it would be in Italy. Nice change from the typical jumbo Americanized restaurants. The menu requires some patience to read, all the titles are Italian and there are many options! The food was so good and I hope to return one day.
Kelly and Jason were awesome servers for our big party of 12. They rocked it. Even better was the food. I was very Impressed and will return for sure. I had the carbonara without peas plus chicken and it was as the kids would say "Bussin"
My fiance and I celebrated our engagement here the evening of and had wonderful time. The quaint authentic Italian atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food left us with nearly nothing left to be desired. Our waitress was lovely and patient, and we never had to wait for a thing. Our experience was seamless, nothing rushed, just paced to perfection. I would like to personally thank the staff for rounding off our special day on a high note. Dinner was just what we were hoping for. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Italian food done right.
Wife and I went there for an early dinner yesterday. Dave the bartender was also our waiter. We loved the atmosphere and decor. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer one of the specials for the evening. I had the halibut dinner special and my wife had the scallops off the regular dinner menu. The appetizer and meals were excellent. We ended the meals with a raspberry mocha cappuccino, a white chocolate cappuccino and the apple crisp dessert. Everything was delicious. Dave was very knowledgeable about the meal offerings and his suggestions were on point. Our interactions with the staff were enjoyable. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will return here.
Absolutely amazing food and service! I had New York strip steak which was phenomenal..I can't speak highly enough about the service, our waiter was Jason whe was the best! Very knowledgeable and very attentive..would definitely recommend!
Just found these pictures in my camera roll and realized I never posted a review from my Valentine’s Day dinner! Tre Scalini did a fantastic job of giving us a romantic date night, with exceptional service and a special menu. The steak was cooked perfectly, pasta and sauces were amazing, and our apps of risotto balls and clams casino were delicious. Our dessert was a decadent chocolate cake with layers of mousse. Tre Scalini is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, and we hope to come back for our next celebration!
A nice upscale restaurant at the outskirts of Little Italy. The food was really good and the portions are generous. The Eggplant Parmigiana was delicious!
